Maria Prieto

Maria is Venezuelan immigrant, who arrived in the United States at the age of 14. She is recently graduating from the illustrious Virginia State University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics. 

She has cultivated a deep passion for social impact and human rights advocacy, particularly focusing on immigrant rights, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ rights through various internships in the nonprofit sector during her undergraduate years.
