Julio Quispe
Julio “Coco” Quispe is an indigenous Andino immigrant from Peru, who migrated to Brentwood, NY when he was seven years old. After graduation from Suny Maritime in international trade and transportation he moved to Charlottesville, VA where he farmed and opened his own food truck. In 2022 He moved to Nashville, TN and took the role of Workers Rights Organizer with Workers Dignity, a grass-roots organization, where he built public campaigns with low-wage workers that were victims of wage theft. Coco is very passionate in building community and believes in working collectively to create social change that empowers minorities, immigrants and the working class. In his free time he likes biking, fishing and playing with his cat, Caylloma.
