Briany Cruz

Briany Cruz is a Bilingual Macro Social Worker with experience in program development, case management, and community engagement across diverse communities in Virginia. Her work spans direct service, policy research, and advocacy, including supporting hundreds of households with housing and financial assistance, developing workforce programs for youth, and contributing to national efforts addressing youth homelessness.

Briany is passionate about expanding access to resources and creating opportunities for underserved communities and she is especially excited to join LAJC, an organization she has admired and aspired to be part of since middle school.

Outside of her work, Briany enjoys spending time with her siblings and cousins, practicing her DJing skills, and taking long walks around the Richmond area.
