Brasil Perez

Brasil Perez is a first-generation immigrant and Bolivian American raised in Fairfax and Alexandria, Virginia. Brasil’s lived experience and professional background have shaped a strong commitment to immigrant justice and supporting immigrant communities. Brasil graduated from George Mason University in May 2021 with a B.S. in Criminology, Law and Society and a minor in Intelligence Analysis, and previously worked as an immigration paralegal supporting attorneys and helping immigrant families navigate the legal system. At LAJC, Brasil is proud to support the organization’s mission of advancing racial, social, and economic justice through its work in immigration, housing, consumer protection, and civil rights. Outside of work, Brasil enjoys playing and watching soccer, running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
