Welcome our new Dep. Director of Operations

We are incredibly excited to announce Danielle Taylor as our new Deputy Director of Operations! This brand new role will design, build, and oversee systems and infrastructure to promote a healthy working environment and to support our advocates in achieving LAJC’s mission.

Danielle Taylor is a global development strategist and human rights activist who helps organizations improve operations to maximize social impact. Danielle has led high-stakes international human rights initiatives with respected global development agencies including The Carter Center, the General Board of Global Ministries, and the Girls Gotta Run Foundation.

Danielle holds a Master of International Policy from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and media outlets and she regularly serves as a guest lecturer on human rights and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at colleges and universities. After a decade of international work, Danielle has made her home in Richmond, Virginia with her partner and son.  Danielle says of starting her new role at LAJC, “As our nation grapples with its violent and oppressive past, it is a privilege to be a part of the talented and dedicated team at LAJC that is creating opportunities and ensuring protections are upheld for marginalized groups. I plan to leverage my global experience in strategic operations and human rights activism to disrupt the systems designed to perpetuate poverty against racial and ethnic minority groups.”  Please join us in welcoming Danielle to the Legal Aid Justice Center team!
