Fluvanna Correctional Center Lawsuit

The latest issue of C-Ville Weekly offers a look into our ongoing lawsuit on behalf of inmates of the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women.

Brenda Castañeda, our attorney on the case said, “In the end, the case is simple. Prisoners are sick or in pain, the state has a legal duty to take care of them while they’re behind bars, and it’s not happening. It’s hard to get more fundamental than that.”
