Open Enrollment for Affordable Care Act health insurance begins today and runs until January 15, 2024! Many people can purchase low-cost—or even free—health insurance during this time using the Affordable Care Act Marketplace.  

This year Open Enrollment is particularly important because 15% of Virginians who were enrolled in Medicaid have lost coverage since the Medicaid continuous coverage period ended in March. Those who have lost Medicaid should look into ACA plan options in order to stay insured!
