Madeline Sachs
Madeline joined the Immigrant Justice Program in Fall 2025 as a Skadden Fellow focused on the intersection of immigration and criminal law. Madeline earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Blume Public Interest Scholar and a student advocate in Georgetown’s immigration and appellate clinics. In 2025, she received the Associate Dean’s Award for Excellence in Clinic and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. During law school, Madeline completed internships with the Amica Center’s Immigration Impact Lab, the New Hampshire Public Defender, and the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California. Prior to law school, Madeline was a paralegal on the Litigation & Advocacy team at Immigrant Defenders Law Center. In her spare time, Madeline enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Pablo.
