On May 17, friends and supporters of Legal Aid braved a wet and chilly evening to gather at Hardywood Brewery and celebrate all the good work we do and the people we help in the greater Richmond area.

On October 14, 2015, women from all over Richmond gathered at the Willow Oaks Country Club to hear about the work of Legal Aid. Clients and leadership discussed how our legal assistance makes a difference in women's lives, helping them out of poverty and giving them a fresh start. This event was sponsored by Hunton & Williams, with additional support from Capital One.

On October 13, 2015, host John Grisham helped us tell the story of Debbie Daley, the medical neglect she suffered, and the successful outcome of the Legal Aid Justice Center's case against the Fluvanna Women's Correctional Center.

On May 20, 2015, we gathered at Three Notch'd Brewing – just across the street from our Legal Aid offices – to raise a glass to all the staff, supportes, volunteers and pro bono attorneys who provide legal support to those in need.
