Antes de unirse al equipo del LAJC, realiz\u00f3 una beca en el Centro Nacional de Derecho Juvenil, donde se centr\u00f3 en los derechos civiles de los menores no acompa\u00f1ados bajo custodia del gobierno. Antes de estudiar Derecho en la Universidad de Nueva York, Daniela trabaj\u00f3 como asistente jur\u00eddica en el Grupo de Asistencia Jur\u00eddica de Nueva York, donde defendi\u00f3 los intereses de los clientes en materia de inmigraci\u00f3n.
