Antes de incorporarse al LAJC, Andrea fue Becaria Jur\u00eddica Dunn de Derechos de los Presos en la ACLU de Virginia, donde litig\u00f3 en nombre de los virginianos encarcelados. Antes de su trabajo en Virginia, Andrea fue abogada de plantilla en la Iniciativa de Pol\u00edtica Penitenciaria, donde trabaj\u00f3 en las campa\u00f1as para acabar con el gerrymandering penitenciario y para reducir el coste de las llamadas a casa desde prisiones y c\u00e1rceles. Andrea se licenci\u00f3 en Derecho por el Centro de Derecho de la Universidad de Georgetown y en Derecho y Sociedad por la American University.
