En la actualidad, Ted preside el Comit\u00e9 Permanente de Asistencia Jur\u00eddica y Defensa de Indigentes de la ABA, y tambi\u00e9n forma parte del Comit\u00e9 Permanente de Servicios Jur\u00eddicos Pro Bono de la Conferencia Judicial del Circuito de Washington, D.C., y de la Junta de Gobierno del Colegio de Abogados del Distrito de Columbia, entre otros numerosos compromisos orientados al inter\u00e9s p\u00fablico. Ha sido galardonado por sus contribuciones pro bono por la Legal Aid Society of D.C., con su premio Servant of Justice Award en 2006, y por el Washington Lawyers&#8217; Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, con su premio Wiley A. Branton Award en 2015. Ted ha sido reconocido por \u00abBest Lawyers in America\u00bb y \u00abD.C. Superlawyers\u00bb en numerosas ocasiones.
