\n<\/strong>LA ORGANIZACI\u00d3N BUSCA NUEVO DIRECTOR EJECUTIVO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Charlottesville, Virginia, 27 de abril de 2018 -
\n<\/strong>La Directora Ejecutiva del Legal Aid Justice Center (LAJC), Mary Bauer, ha anunciado su intenci\u00f3n de dejar el cargo de Directora Ejecutiva a mediados del verano de 2018. Bauer se convirti\u00f3 en Directora Ejecutiva en enero de 2014. La Junta Directiva del LAJC iniciar\u00e1 inmediatamente una b\u00fasqueda nacional de su pr\u00f3xima Directora Ejecutiva.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abNo tengo palabras para describir el liderazgo de Mary en el LAJC\u00bb, declar\u00f3 Jonathan Blank, Presidente del Consejo y socio de McGuire Woods.  \u00ab\u00c9ramos una organizaci\u00f3n fuerte cuando Mary asumi\u00f3 este cargo, pero, en los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os y medio, el LAJC se ha convertido en una de las organizaciones sin \u00e1nimo de lucro m\u00e1s relevantes y eficaces de Virginia.  Esperamos dar la bienvenida a un l\u00edder fuerte que contin\u00fae la misi\u00f3n del LAJC.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de dotar a la organizaci\u00f3n de una base financiera m\u00e1s estable, el legado de Bauer incluye el lanzamiento del Programa de Derechos Civiles y Justicia Racial (CRRJ) del LAJC y la puesta en marcha de una planificaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica al estilo de las campa\u00f1as dentro de cada uno de los programas del LAJC: JustChildren, Defensa de los Inmigrantes, Justicia Econ\u00f3mica y CRRJ.<\/p>\n

\u00abHa sido un enorme honor dirigir esta organizaci\u00f3n y este incre\u00edble equipo de defensores\u00bb, dijo Mary Bauer.  \u00abLAJC es una organizaci\u00f3n fuerte y vibrante, y no me cabe duda de que seguir\u00e1 haciendo un trabajo asombroso durante muchas d\u00e9cadas.  Es agridulce dejar esta maravillosa organizaci\u00f3n, pero la decisi\u00f3n es la correcta para mi familia en este momento.  Espero quedarme en Charlottesville y seguir apoyando al LAJC en todo lo que pueda.<\/p>\n

\u00abMary es tan intr\u00e9pida, incansable y desinteresada como cualquier l\u00edder que puedas conocer. Estamos enormemente orgullosos de haber trabajado a sus \u00f3rdenes\u00bb, declar\u00f3 Angela Ciolfi, Directora de Litigios y Defensa. \u00abSu s\u00f3lida br\u00fajula moral y su visi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica han sido una inspiraci\u00f3n para todo el personal. Mary era exactamente la l\u00edder que necesit\u00e1bamos en este momento de nuestra historia. Ha puesto al LAJC en el camino correcto para seguir adelante y luchar por la justicia\u00bb.<\/p>\n
